training for 10k and need to know some info!!!

this will be my first 10k and I want to know what others have done to train, my training right now is 2 swims a week each a 3miles, then 2 a week each time I swim 7miles. I also do some weight lifting to for the arms. The other question is the race said you need to have a feeder. So how should I train the person that is doing the feedings, Do the feeding stations get crowed? then is the best time to feed, during how many miles.If any one has any info to give me I would be so happy!

    Vevebeb I am going to do just what you said need some helpful info about the race, I got in contact with Leonard Jansen about training he is so helpful what an great guy. Chaos what were you thinking besides sports drinks for feeding ?I really want to know if there is somthing I could actully eat while swimming. I know you do alto of long distance swims so any info for training ect. would be helpful. But thanks to Leonard I got alot of helpful traing info. thanks Vevebeb your right about strarting a new thread.
