I swim open water often and now have a nose issue. The inside of my
nose swells from the cold water and I am stuffy for hours afterwards. Does anyone have experience with this? I am trying nose plugs but feel
as they are constricting. Any advice?

I have an allergic reaction to chlorine in indoor pools - same effect. (Tried all kinds of meds but they weren't very helpful and disturbed my sleep.) I now use a sychro or similar nose clip. It took me two weeks to get used to it. No more problem.

ragweed pollen settles on the lakes surface this time of year and causes me some post swim sneezing fits.... a pretty good upper ab workout (if i were a "glass half full" kind of a guy)
