Should be fun and offer me some cross training. I also wanted it so my brother can get some exercise and follow me around on competitions and practice swims. We have a family cabin on a local lake (Allatoona) so it only made sense for me to get one.
Got a great deal on a 2008 model ($599)!:applaud:

Sweet! Once I am settled permanently in FL I want to get a kayak for sure, along with paddleboarding it seems to be the best way to see the local wildlife... I have heard from a few people that if you kayak out a mile to the grass flats near the Tampa Skyway Bridge through April-June you can easily see Bull, Lemon, and Blacktip sharks everywhere out there...
I tried paddleboarding recently and loved it too, I'll be doing a lot of paddleboard X-training I think. We paddled a mile out to the channel marker of Siesta Key and we saw two dolphins go right by us. If you head out very early and just sit out there you can see dolphins almost every day.....
