I'll be in San Diego for a few weeks and would like to swim the cove with a group. Does anyone on here know of any scheduled group swims?

I swam the cove yesterday morning during the slack tide. It was calmer than I've ever seen it, very relaxing. The water is pretty warm too, around 67 degrees. Lots of kelp and lots of other swimmers. I was lucky to get there before the fog rolled in, or I could have been lost at sea!
Some kids found a dead humboldt squid which was mostly intact. That sucker was pretty big. It must have washed in from the canyon.
I didn't see any seals at "seal beach". What's up with that?
