    She is going to touch land at Cape Torpentine and then continue on another 20 or so k to the shore of Nova Scotia. The first 9 miles of the crossing is loaded with Rip Tides and big purple Jelly Fish. I swam the 9 mile swim from Cape Torpentine to Borden in 1964 it was 9miles, 9 hours. Terrible tides.
