I stayed on the safe side and swam along the lefthand side of the mass of swimmers, and probably overestimated the current as I was taken about 50 yards to the left of the opening to Aquatic Park. Entering Qquatic Park,.with about a 1/4 to go was exhilerating,..lots of folks on the seawall that encircles the Park,..cheering us on.
As Gary says,...stop in the middle of the swim, and soak-up the view. It will be a picture you will always remember.
