Swimming around Ireland

My cousins are part of a team of 6 people who are currently swimming around Ireland. The water temps. vary from 51 deg. to 56 deg. and none of them are wearing wetsuits. They are hoping to swim 25 miles a day but weather, tides and winds affect their ability to make their target each day. Check out roundirelandswim.ie for their daily blogs!

www.roundirelandswim.ie that's the home page, there's a link on the homepage for the daily updates they have made it more than 1/4 of the way around Ireland, past the Belfast shipping lanes and busy Dublin Harbor. They have had days where they all swam more than 4 miles each and days where they aren't able to get very far (it all depends on the tides, currents and wind/weather). I think the jellyfish have been pretty bad also.
