Movie "On a Clear Day" Swimming English Channel as part of story line.

This only showed at a few placed in Australia too, which was a shame. I thought it was great and had a reasonable story line. Having swum the channel in 2004 I was impressed how true to the sport of channel swimming it stayed. Well worth a trip to the cinema (or DVD shop as it probably is not showing anywhere now) I'm real interested in swimming the channel and have talked about doing a relay with Matt S. Another friend of mine who is British and lives in DC says that I'm crazy becasue the water is now so dirty. We'll see what happens.Hope it comes though. I have swum in plenty worse than the channel. I think though it often comes down to the weather and tides on the day. I didn't even see any seaweed let alone rubbish in the separation zone.
