On advice of a friend I started tracking my year to date yardage this year as a motivator to get the pool as often as possible, and to try to hit 1 million yards for the year. I've never done this in the 35 or so years I've been swimming but so far its been working pretty good; I'm 2 weeks ahead of schedule.
anyone else keep track of their yardage through out the year?

If they included a addressed, stamped envelope in one of the end of the year swimmer mags, so I don't have to put my credit card info online, I'd be there instantly.
We have spent a lot of time on a reliable online registration system and are trying to discourage the use of paper registration forms.
You may not be aware that some of the major credit card companies offer a way for you to generate a one-use, temporary credit card number. The number is good only for one online purchase.
Bank of America, for example, offers this feature to their cardholders. They call it "ShopSafe" and here is an explanation of how it works:

"ShopSafe is a free credit card fraud protection service that allows you to create a temporary card number each time you make an online purchase. This number links directly to your real credit card account number but keeps your card number completely private and protected. The ShopSafe number is used just like any other credit card—a merchant never knows it's not your real credit card."
