Didn't see a thread so I thought I'd start one.
Its been fantastic on the ASCA I & II side of things . All the coaches are a wealth of knowledge and brings their own ideas. Scott has a rolling with his jokes and "Scottism's!". Dr. G had us all hanging on every word and video of stroke analysis.....who woulda know Michael Phelps isn't actually perfect in the water?! Mel is great on the business end of things. I'm SO glad I'm attending and would recommend it to everyone, regardless of whether you coach or not.
I just wish it was a week long camp and we all got to swim together, critique each other, share more war stories, and have time for some fun!!:applaud::applaud:

To Rob Copeland and crew, Great job!:applaud: I had a fantastic time and took away a lot more than just 3 things.
ElaineK it was great to meet you and chat a bit. You as nice a person as I imagined! Thanks for introducing me to Want2befish. It's always great to put a face to a Formite name.
I have to agree with Wookie, the PT guys had the best presentation.
I also think more water time would have been more beneficial, but the swim video was the best for me personally because I have been without a coach for so long. Great advice for my free and I know the coach critiquing my *** stroke wanted to say, "just don't" but was too professional for that and gave some tips to work.:afraid:
Thanks again it was a great event!!!
Nice to meet you too, Slowswim! Sorry we didn't get a chance to chat for longer, but there was so much to pack into a relatively short time. Hopefully we'll run into each other at another masters function at some point soon!
I agree, Rob Copeland and crew put on a great event. I only went on Saturday as it would have been tough for me to fit in Sunday (and I was mainly interested in the videotaping and Dr. G's swim power testing). That being said, I enjoyed the classroom sessions as well. Will definitely be looking up Axis Dryland, and have already looked at and started employing several of Cokie Lepinski's drills.
Elaine, great to see you again, and I'm sure I'll see you in a week at UGA!
