ARE you going?
What suit are you going to rock in your races? TIPS
One of the masters swimmers I train with went to Auburn,
this morning I asked him
"How do you get to Auburn?"
He said fly into Atlanta then drive 2 hours to Auburn.
He added if you do this, one thing you want to be aware of is
Atlanta is on Eastern Time & Auburn is on Central time
so when you drive from:
Atlanta to Auburn you subtract an hour &
Auburn to Atlanta you add an hour.
I would also like to thank you, Peter, and your teammates, Roger and Dave, for being so supportive and encouraging, just like you were when I met you guys at the February Auburn meet. I heard the Titans cheering from the starting block and I can hear cheering going on in the video Bruce took of my 200 breaststroke race. Couldn't find a bettter person to cheer for! You also got two Dave's for the price of one and Roger's wife Pam (our swim caddy) cheering for you. If Emily was up there she would have been as well.

Awww, thanks, Dave #2 and Pam! Please thank them for me! I am in the process of finishing my YouTube uploads, so a complete list of videos will appear very soon! :D
Hey, a special shout-out to George Park: I wore your Yingfa suit and really liked it. Peter McCoy liked his suit, too, so we got a shot of us with our suits. (See attached)I'm sold on mine! My Speedo Aquablade is relegated to backup/warmup suit status.
I want to thank everyone for your support, but I want to especially thank Robert Wright(who is also a great guy.)We were basically stroke for stroke for 200 M and I was only able to gut out that last 50 because I knew he was.
This was a very well run meet in very fast pool.Great job! I watched as I waited for my heat to start. Having never met you in person and with the lane order inverted to the scoreboard, I ended up congratulating Robert for your efforts. Nice foot in mouth moment. Still, you both swam great races.

Got it covered. Not as good on the quality as yours are but it is still there. Very nice race btw. I think this was way under your seed time.

I got half of Leslie's WR but she kind of blew away the person I was filming and left the frame at the end. I'll try to post it when youtube finally queue's it through.
I'd like to thank the meet organizers for another well run event. Everything went off on time without any issues that I could tell. The weather cooperated nicely which kept the outdoor pool open until the very end of the meet. It was warm but not too hot. The outdoor pool was awesome for warming up. There was a small walk to get there but the lanes rarely had more than 3 people in them. It let me warm up at whatever speed I wanted without running into anyone or being in anyone's way. It was also nice to get out in some fresh air an sunshine. Thanks to all who put their valuable time in to making this a memorable Nationals!

Peter is right; it was a fantastic meet! Thanks, USMS!

I heard the Titans cheering from the starting block and I can hear cheering going on in the video Bruce took of my 200 breaststroke race. Bruce picked up on the positive stroke critique, as well, and passed that information to me. I appreciated it very much, because I was TIRED and my time was terrible. Between the Titans and the Starks, the support was fantastic. THANKS!
Please pass my thanks(!!!) on to Roger and Dave. You guys were terrific; I will always remember the Titans! :D

Thanks so much, Peter! How cool that you got the one race we didn't. I sure appreciate it! :applaud:
I had to laugh at the end of my race; I sure was out of steam! I was so tired by then, thanks to the lousy night of sleep at the hotel the night before. Wednesday night was rotten, too, and it sure showed in my race times on Thursday and Saturday, in my breaststroke. On Friday, I got a PB in the 100 breaststroke and my free relay split was a PB; faster than the 50m free race you filmed. Sleep makes all the difference in the world for me; speaking of which, I'm ready to hit the pillow... :bed:
Thanks, again, Peter! :D
Thank you Elaine for the videos.
Thanks to everyone involved in putting on the meet.It was a great meet in a fast pool put on by really nice people.
Ditto to all this. And it was nice meeting you in person, Elaine.
