  • WTH? Is this final? My 50 back in SCM isn't in the FINA 2010 listings and it would be #1. I went a 31.14. (It appears that Valerie Jenkin's time is not on the FINA list either.) Though both my 100 back and 100 fly are. Who can I contact? I really hate it when my times disappear. I just sent an email to Walt Reid.
  • Are you looking at the correct year? I get the following for the 50 back: 50m Backstroke Women Short Course Rank Full Name Country Time Year 1 PIPES-NEILSEN Karlyn USA 30.58 2007 2 LIVINGSTON Leslie USA 31.14 2009 3 OPITZ Barbara GER 31.45 2006 4 REYNOLDS Ellen USA 31.66 2010 5 HIRAISHI Shizuko JPN 32.02 2009 6 DITOMMASO Laurie USA 32.51 2008 7 SWANSON Vibeke USA 32.54 2006 8 ANDRUS-HUGHES Karen USA 32.59 2006 9 ROSEN Susanna SWE 32.61 2009 10 PHILIPSSON Anette SWE 32.63 2010 That's the FINA All Time Top Ten list. Look under 2010. I swam 31.14 in both 2009 and 2010.
  • That's the FINA All Time Top Ten list. Look under 2010. Yep, sorry; I have no idea why it isn't there.

I don't think it is final. Last year I got bumped off the initial listing, so I am sure there is some way to report corrections. Congratulations.

I will be rather upset if it is final. World Champion vs. Nada. There are likely more errors if I detected 2 errors in one event in one age group. You'd think all the USMS data would be submitted together.
  • Oh poo. Maybe next year. Congrats everyone!:applaud:
  • Congrats to all the US FINA ranked swimmers! The best are the people who are completely oblivious to their USMS TT and FINA rankings. Next year, I plan to finally get on the FINA list.
  • You'd think all the USMS data would be submitted together. You would think so, but in my case, the person who was left off was listed in the US top ten. Someone here should know who to contact.

You'd think all the USMS data would be submitted together. Leslie, Im really sorry to hear about the error that left you off the top of the list. How frustrating. Just one thought. Were your swims done in a masters meet? I know FINA doesn't count swims from USA meets but USMS does. Over the years I've lost more than several world records due to mismanagement by meet directors. I know enough now to take on the reponsibility personally to ensure credit is given. I hope you can straighten things out. Rich
