I need to get Shanteau's jammer from his breaststroke semi-finals, if it is not 400 bucks.

I agree. That last 100 was out of this world, though. She can thank her country's past antics for putting any fantastic Chinese swim in doubt.

I wasn't worried about Phelps today. He always follows a bad race with a good one. Lochte's swim wasn't bad; some credit should go to Agnel, who was great.

Armchair quarterbacking should be an Olympic sport.
It was a reasonable call, given that Lochte (defending world champion in the 200 free that he is) was more rested than Grevers and swam so well yesterday. The difference in their two splits (I think 0.2 sec?) wouldn't have made up the gap.
I guess people wanting to avoid spoilers are either avoiding this thread or have already heard all about it, but...it was a great race. Adrian and Phelps had monster swims. And who would have thought the Aussies would be a non-factor?
