I generally swim 1 meet per month with a few 2 per month.
Most of mine are local USA meets, only 4 are usually masters meets since I have to drive and stay in a hotel for most of those.
When I swim with the kids if it is a 2 day meet and I am swimming with the seniors I can usually get my warmups and warmdowns in. If it is a one day short meet (pick 3 format) I tend to just swim and not really try and swim fast. It is more about showing the kids I coach that your never too old to swim and that YES coach can actually swim and beat some of them.
2 that can leave me in the dust and about 4 that are starting to creap into my time ranges now. Should be an interesting year.
