The next Canadian Masters Swimming Championships will be held 5/20/2011 to 5/23/2011 in Montreal. I believe it will be SCM.
Unfortunately the Masters Swimming Canada site has very little information on the meet as yet. I would like to correspond with someone who knows more details, including venue, which events are on which dates, event order, etc.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Hopefully, it won't be as crowded as Stanford was. Well, unless they have a two pool option, I fear it would be quite crowded. I was at Stanford for one day and found it fine ... loads of people, but the facility at Stanford is so big and awesome (both pools and surrounding grounds) that it was fine. I fear that a North American Worlds would be VERY crowded unless there's a facility roughly the equivalent of Stanford. They just had 1,100+ people at the Canadian Masters Nationals; I would imagine Worlds would attract a huge number of Americans in addition to all the people from outside of North America who often travel. I'll still go if it's in Montreal, but set my expectations appropriately.
