What's in mine varies by the season, but always features 2 or more swim caps, 2 or more suits, 2 or more goggles, a sammie, a dop kit, and a towel. The summer version has more goggles (for when I get to swim outside in the sun, tinted goggles!) and loads of sunscreen. I do loan out stuff from time to time, so it pays to have some extras.
I coach age group kids and never understand how they don't have extra goggles, cap, suit in their bags. I carry a bag of goggles as loaners for my age groupers in my coaching bag.
Several caps, goggles, blow dryer, brush/comb, 10-15 assorted hair products, make-up, monon card, zip-lock full of workouts for solo swimming, xtra suit, underwear, deoderant, lotion, power bar, sunscreen, clothes for school. I normally swim in the morning and go straight to work from the pool so I need all this stuff. I clean my bag out fairly regularly so it's clean and fairly neat.
Wow lots in those swim bags...
Mine has:
Suit
Goggles
Y membership card
:)
Do you "air dry" or do you use a towel? What about clothing to wear to and from the pool. I hate sitting in a wet suit on the dry seat of the car!
... microfiber towel, nose clips, fins, paddles, inhaler, honey stinger energy chews, protein fusion or gluten free bars for post-workout, smart water, refresh eye drops, extra contacts ...

I have to ask before one of the men do -- 10-15 assorted hair products? Granted I'm not the best person to understand the answer because I only use shampoo and conditioner. I can imagine using maybe three others besides that. How do you get to 10-15?
I have 2 swim bags.
Pool swim bag = mold
OW swim bag = 5 swim caps, 7 pairs of goggles, sunscreen, Advil, inhaler, secret ladies' things, several boarding passes, sketches of my backstroke snorkel, water thermometer, packet of baby wipes, bottle of baby shampoo, tissues, sea shells, a garbage bag, an annotated map of the waters around Manhattan and $5 (yay!)
I clean mine out often, however I always keep 2 caps and about 3 pair of goggles. It is still heavy so I am thinking of switching to a bag on wheels. I hate to say it is my age! but has anyone else changed over to this type of bag
