I have seen guys using jammers mostly now. However, there were a good number of swimmers in briefs at Santa Clara. I'm leaning toward getting one for competition. I have square suits that I use for practice.

He may be referring to a practice suit. I swap the term drag suit and practice suit all the time but they are still the same suit.
Correct. For the precisionistas among us, I should properly have referred to it as a second practice suit. Or a Baggy. Or a square poly brief. But apparently not a drag suit.
