I have seen guys using jammers mostly now. However, there were a good number of swimmers in briefs at Santa Clara. I'm leaning toward getting one for competition. I have square suits that I use for practice.
Does it matter what strokes I do?

I did not like the feeling on my hamstring that the short john tech suit had, and doubt it would be different for the jammers. Like Chris, I don't think there will be much difference in times between the suits. but I may get a jammer for Nationals only to avoid some shaving hassles.
