Men...what kind of suit do you wear for meets???

I have seen guys using jammers mostly now. However, there were a good number of swimmers in briefs at Santa Clara. I'm leaning toward getting one for competition. I have square suits that I use for practice. Does it matter what strokes I do?

Jammer for "big" meets, and brief with drag suit for practices and other meets. Why wear a drag suit at a meet? I don't get it.
