My recent wrist injury led me to think about this. During the freestyle and backstroke pull phase, how much should you bend the wrist of the pulling hand? Is it the less the better? How about not bent at all? Bending too much either way apparently invites injury as in my case.
i have two (child and adult sized). I don't like either because they flip around too much. I do have weenie forearms. I think fist drills and big paddles accomplish the same thing.
