I can't say enough about the positive energy surrounding this event from start to finish. In spite of challenging logistics, the organizers pulled this off with amazing success! I have had a blast, and want to thank everyone involved. I also want to go on record to state that the warm ups were exceedingly civilized and if anyone had to issue "I'm sorrries", it was me. What a magnificent experience!
Hey, Jim, we may have seen you pull out of port on Sunday! :chug: We were in Old San Juan and there were two ships in port. One (can't remember the name) pulled out while we watched. We waved just in case you were on it. The other was a Carnival ship that was scheduled to pull out that evening. Here are photos of both.
The Carnival ship is in the photo where you can see the entire ship. The other photo shows the non-Carnival ship; it's mostly obscured by Fort San Cristobal.
That was me waving back from the Veranda deck on the Carnival ship. We got three islands (out of six) on it that we hadn't been to before. The RCCL ship only had only one new one, so we passed on it.
