I looked on the places to swim on the USMS site and didn't see many listings for PA. Is there a masters team somewhere near Penn St.?

Well--after you burn up the calories at the pool--you might want to stop at the Creamery on campus. PSU has a certificate program in ice cream production and there is an ice cream store on campus. Many people ship it home or just eat it there.
Remember--as a state university--they have a farm co-op program and there is an animal portion to that.
