1. You open the door to the pool and get that first whiff of chlorine and think to yourself, "I love the smell of chlorine in the morning!"
2. Your new issue of Swimmer Magazine arrives :bliss: and you immediately sit down and read it cover to cover (including the ads!). But, then, the realization sets in that now you have to wait two months until the NEXT issue arrives.
3. You find yourself counting strokes instead of sheep to fall asleep at night. Then, just when you're about to fall asleep, instead of your leg twitching a little bit, it does a full whip kick :afraid:, and you ride the glide to slumberland... :bed:
Now it's your turn...

Also when you realise that despite having any number of endurance/competition suits in various stages of worn-outness, you actually have no decent leisure suit - ie one that you would actually want to be seen wearing out of the water!
:) Totally funny! and so so so so true! I have that problem quite often
Yeah! And you think that "leisure swimsuits" just look dorky, slow and uncomfortable. All that BS with suits riding up, slipping off shoulders, sopping up water, fluttering extra fabric.

Too true - Or you think you have this great idea by getting a Speedo tankini so it fits well. Then realise 4 weeks later that it is lycra, therefore going see-through and not worth the $$, so end up wearing your old endurance anyway to take the kids swimming!

completely true. I have tried on several but bought none. They just don't feel right... lol
You know your hooked on swimming when the first thing you the morning after college finals is head to the pool for a 6am practice. :)
Good gracious, enough with the whining about the heat. It is Arizona, in early May, the heat is a given and it wasn't even that hot Sat and Sun. Great meet, awesome pool, perfect weather.
If Arizona is hot in May, then what does one say about Auburn in August?

Same for us guys. I can't imagine spending the day at the beach or pool in wet, baggie, capri legnth, pants getting all sorts of things rubbed raw!:censor:
