I was on two relays at USMS SCY Nationals that broke national records. I just received an email from Walt Reid asking me to send him a copy of my birth certificate and/or my passport to verify my age; which I understand having to verify the age. Before I send copies of my personal information I wanted to confirm that this is legit. I emailed him asking a couple questions but have not heard back. :confused:

Be lucky your records were set at nationals. If you did them at a local meet (not a regional meet), you tend to get sick with worry, because sometimes officials have never dealt with verifying record swims.
