Wearing a tech suit at Nationals?

I graduated college in 1999, just before tech suits took over the world. I have never worn anything other than an old school Speedo (and a wetsuit for open water.) A friend of mine has pretty much convinced me to try it out at Nationals this weekend since it is my first and last chance. He gave me his suit to wear, so it's free. Any thoughts? Are most of you wearing tech suits, or going old school? Thanks!

It's day three of the meet, and I now realize how ridiculous my original question was. 99.9% of the swimmers here are wearing tech suits. The 'free' suit I had was too long, so I went old school That's right, a tiny Speedo (actually TYR). It looks like I will go through life without experiencing the rush of a tech suit. Don't get me wrong, I plan to keep wearing a wetsuit in open water. Definitely don't like the cold. A few other thoughts. 1) There is some seriously fast swimming here! 2) I don't think it has anything to do with 'the suits'. Next year will be even faster! 3) If you have never come to this meet, you have to check it out. Truly incredible atmosphere. 4) Swimming in the 1996 Olympic pool will be a memory that I cherish forever.
