Hey All,
I live in the Springfield, Ma area and I've been jonsing for some outdoor swimming. Does anyone know of any decent outdoor lap pools within reasonable driving distance? 50 m would be preferable, but 25 y or 25 m would be fine.

thanks for the info. i usually swim in a pretty good pool, but it's indoors and sometimes i just like to have the sun over head. i don't need it every day, but on occasion it would be great to get into a good pool or join a master's team for an outdoor swim. there are a handful of outdoor pools in this part, but most of them are rather crappy and they won't open for at least a month.
for the brookfield and mill river pools, are those open yet? i would love to get a good outdoor swim in in the next week or two.
Brookfield opens tomorrow (Memorial Day) here is the info for summer
