New England meets the end of June?

We will be in CT the end of June and I was just wondering if anybody could tell me of any meets nearby? Or any practice times, preferably in the morning? Thanks!

  • We're staying in Derby with his parents, next to New Haven, but we will be driving everywhere. Pat has family in: Glastonbury, Cromwell, New London, and Newington. Plus, we are starting to show the kids around, so I'm sure we'll be going to MA, VT, and NY again. Where do you swim? I usually swim in West Hartford at Cornerstone Aquatic Center. They say there's masters swimming there but what I think they mean is that some of the people who swim there (like me!) are masters swimmers. When I asked about organized groups I was told there were none. But, if you find yourself in West Hartford and would like someone to swim with, let me know! http://www.swimcornerstone.com I have also swam with the masters swimmers at Weleyan University in Middletown (near Cromwell). They have workouts both mornings and evenings. www.wesleyan.edu/.../cardinalmastersswimming.htm Drop ins are $10 and the coach Seth is very accessible by email. (sthacker@wesleyan.edu) I have had some contact with folks from the southeastern part of the state as well in East Lyme (near New London). I am not sure what their practice times are but there is a masters group there. Wesley Crozier (wesleycrozier@gmail.com) is the contact and the pool's website is here: http://www.nutmegaquatics.com/. I have been told they have a good program and I have met some of their swimmers but I have never been to a workout with them (a meet and a number of clinics though). For meets, there is the one in VT someone else posted. There is also one in Worcester, MA but it is more midmonth (the 13th). As far as I know that is it for competition in the area for the end of June. Hope some of this was helpful, enjoy your time in CT and southern NE!!!
