I have an upcoming work related trip to Toronto. Does anyone know of any teams that swim near the downtown area? I would hate to resort to the hotel pool.
Have you checked www.swimmersguide.com or mymsc.ca/index.jsp I haven't swum in Toronto, but my experience in other Canadian cities leads me to believe there have to be a great combination of good community pools and university pools with open hours. Earlier this year I stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown on Bloor Street in Toronto. Guests had free access to the Miles Nadal JCC Athletic Complex a five minute walk away. It had a beautiful, 25 yard pool (salt water, but not that you'd notice) and the hours were great.
