  • Interesting gridge. At '09 Nats, you hit the 150 at 2:02.66. My best Masters 200 fly is 2:04.56 from '07 Nats. You're not tapered (or so you say ) so you might be a bit slower than you were at Nats, though I'm sure you're still Powered By Jaked(TM). Maybe you'll hit the 150 in 2:04. I'm going to have good competition in my heat, so there's a good chance I'll be in "RARRRGH TG SMASH" mode for the last 50-75 yards... hmmmmm... I swam a good 200 at the Orca meet last month (2:08 unshaven), and finished strong when I did a 200 this morning in practice (2:18 from a push in a practice suit)... hmmmm.... OK gridge accepted! :chug: You don't play poker much, do you?

Everything I've read says one pool for all events, but the distance events. You guys look tough in the 200 Fly. It looks like there will be plenty of time between events.
  • Saving the Jaked for Nats so you don't have that excuse.Good luck!!! Good to know you're saving the secret weapon, since you and I are joined at the hip (seeded in adjacent lanes, anyway) in the 100 and 200 ***. I'm looking forward to it. Well, maybe not so much the 200... See you this weekend.

Well, maybe not so much the 200... See you this weekend. I saw that.I have my usual litany of excuses as to why I won't swim fast at a mid-season meet(I have a different litany for taper meets, evidently an important part of my pre-race ritual involves aches, pains, soreness and whining.)It's going to be fun anyway, see you there. The 200 would be more fun without all those silly turns to get in the way,Ilove LCM!!!
  • Saving the Jaked for Nats so you don't have that excuse.Good luck!!! OK Allen, I went 2:06.72. I did manage to sprint the last 75 without any piano precipitation. I would have liked a faster time, but it was a good race and I'm happy with it. Good swims in the same heat by knelson and swimmy.
  • My total time was 2:39.4(I broke 2:40:banana::banana::banana:) so my 150 split was 1:58 meaning I won a very one sided gridge(i.e. you didn't lap me.)I am very happy with my time but :censor: it hurt!!Guy is that your last 200 of the season or will you be at Atlanta?(get a Jaked and break 2:00)

I figured you had this gridge in the bag. Yeah, that's my last 200 fly of the SCY season, no Atlanta for me. After tomorrow's events, it's time to start fearing long course! :bliss: Kidding, of course. I never stop fearing long course 200 fly.

Good swims in the same heat by knelson and swimmy. I guess the piano precipitation was limited to my lane. I thought sea level was supposed to be easier.
