Anybody going to the SCY meet in Olympia this weekend? If I recall correctly, I entered the 100-200 free, 50-100 ***, and 200 IM, so I'm easy pickings for any gridgers out there. I might need a running start for the 50 ***...:bed:

I have no idea what your times are (or mine for that matter right now!), but I'm thinking of swimming 200IM this weekend. I'm hoping to go 2:25 or better... You might have to give me a handicap.

I swam a 2:16.44 earlier this season. That wasn't a very good effort for me so how about a 10-second handicap (baseline of 2:25 versus 2:15)? :chug:
HOLY COW! I got the psych sheet for Saturday's meet in email, and Megan Jendrick is entered! I'm not in her heat for the 50 or 100 *** - for both of those events, I'm in the heat just before her, which is perfect since I'll be gasping and wheezing on the pool deck, trying to figure out where it all went wrong (oh, that's right, I suck at breaststroke) and then Megan can show me how it's done. But we're the top two seeds in the 200 IM (me at 2:16, her at... 2:05), so I'm going to get to swim next to an Olympian. I don't think that's ever happened before... so although I'm looking at a serious butt-kicking, I'm looking forward to Saturday! :banana:
That's cool that Megan and that other Jendrick, whatever his name is :), are entered. Swim fast! I decided not to enter that meet. I'll definitely do the ORCA meet in March. The Lake Washington meet later this month maybe, but unlikely.
From what I heard the guy who is running the meet, flipped out when he saw Megan's entry! It will be fun to see you guys this weekend. Make sure you find me Nathan, I have some Bon Jovi info for you. (I definitely will be livin' on prayer knowing I am swimming two events with Megan!)

I just noticed that Nathan's entered as well. A very stealthy gridger, Nathan's listed as W25 and entered with NT in all his events. Take note, Jimby, that's how it's done!
It could be that the meet host feels pity on me. I can count on my own hands (and one foot) the number of times I have been in a pool since 2006. My goals this weekend are just to finish the three events I entered. With a little luck, God's grace, a Jaked and some fins, I may just get through that 100 IM. :-)
Now to go find me a fancy tech suit and some super stealthy fins!
