Hey, I would just like some tips on our strokes for the Breaststroke and the Butterfly. Our big meet is coming up and two weeks and we would like to know something else besides our coaches tips who are probably going frantic with anxiety. Breaststroke: The second closest lane with the Black/Blue "NM" cap. YouTube- 100 *** stroke 1-8-10 Butterfly: Again, the second closest lane. And better video capture this time *rolls eyes* YouTube- BA: 100 Butterfly Thanks.

If your big meet is 2 weeks away you should just focus (in practice) about doing the things your coach has told you all season. Now is not the time to make big changes in your technique in the middle of the pool. You want your swimming to be automatic at your meet so you can just "go" instead of thinking hard. You will swim faster if you're on automatic. Plus, changing up your stroke will use muscles in a different way and they may not have the conditioning you need. Some visualization exercises may help - rehearse your races in your mind from start to finish. It should be about taper time for you so be sure to follow coach instructions about getting plenty of rest and not doing extra workouts on your own.
