Hey, I would just like some tips on our strokes for the Breaststroke and the Butterfly. Our big meet is coming up and two weeks and we would like to know something else besides our coaches tips who are probably going frantic with anxiety.
Breaststroke:
The second closest lane with the Black/Blue "NM" cap.
YouTube- 100 *** stroke 1-8-10
Butterfly:
Again, the second closest lane. And better video capture this time *rolls eyes*
YouTube- BA: 100 Butterfly
Thanks.
Re: BR.On the start your streamline is good, but you are way too deep. You are also way deep on each turn(2nd turn you were so deep you were probably not legal in terms of your head not breaking the surface before the 2nd pull insweep.)I really like your timing,I think it and your pull are your strong suits. You pull a little further back than I like(I like the elbows to stay in front of the shoulders,) but your pull seems to work for you so I wouldn't necessarily try to change it. Aside from the pullout the other thing to work on is your kick.It is often really good, but especially as you tire you don't get your feet turned out well and really lose power. This may be a matter of concentration or conditioning but you can work on it.
Good luck!!
