Lost the battle with a Jeep windsheild last weekend and am supposed to swim in a meet next weekend. I'm not sure if I even have one, (refused treatment, Man I hate Hospitals!!), But sure seem to have the symptoms. Just thought I would get some input before jumping in and going for it! I did sit this week out of the water. I'm sure thats going to help the times!! :badday:

I agree with everyone else. Skip the meet, GO to the DOCTOR. If you are experiencing symptoms that might mean there is swelling of your brain. Pressure on an area can cause permanent damage, which in turn has the potential to cause you lose some skills... did you hit your forehead?.... check out executive functioning and contra-cou concussion. What was that actress' name who experienced a head injury, refused treatement saying she was okay, then died? I do mean to scare you. I hate hospitals and most MD's too, but there are somethings I wouldn't mess around with and a head injury is one. GO TO THE DOCTOR. Lainey
