Is it just me or do world records in short course meters lack the prestige of world records in long course? And are the 50's just not as big a deal as the longer races? Maybe I'm just showing my age?
When I was a kid we had meets in 20 yard pools. They actually kept records and top five lists for that sort of thing.
And we didn't let the extra turns keep us from being slow.

Ha Ha - my age group team also had some groups training in the dive pool which was 20 yards. I only liked it because it was warm water in the winter and I was skinny.
