I wear swedes, and every summer, my goggle straps turn sticky and fail at a much faster rate then the rest of the year.
What do you do to deal with this? Replace your goggles monthly? Bungie replacement strap? Silicon replacement strap? Glue?
Bungees are the way to go. Also, wash and rins your goggles after every use.
Ditto on the bungees. I still have one that I purchased ten years ago, it works fine. As soon as I purchase goggles, I get a bungee strap. I also have six pairs that I rotate, depending upon when I train during the day. I have swum the last ten years in Arizona, if the bungees last a long time here they will last just about anywhere.
Distilled water is your friend too...
