I wear swedes, and every summer, my goggle straps turn sticky and fail at a much faster rate then the rest of the year.
What do you do to deal with this? Replace your goggles monthly? Bungie replacement strap? Silicon replacement strap? Glue?
My goggles use to do that quite a bit, but maybe 2-3 years ago the strap started coming in a different material. I've worn TYR Racetech as long as I can remember....and in summer I wear the metallized lenses. The straps are now more plasticy. They still don't last as long as I'd like, but not like they used to be.
I leave my swimming stuff in my car before or after I swim, nearly the whole day while I'm at work. I can't imagine carting it all into my office.
I wonder what kind of cover you can get to cover your swim bag. On a hot day, your swim stuff still gets hot even though you leave it in the trunk. I use a beach blanket but I don't think that does the trick.
