I am glad that he is doing an easier schedule. He doesn't need to do 55 events anymore. He has been there, done that, and achieved an award known to the world of swimming. Now, it is time to attempt to become a sprinter and so far, he is doing a really good time. The first sign is that he now thinks that the 400 free is too long of a race. People starting calling Michael Jackson the King of Pop. Phelps is the King of Swimming.
I can't believe that Ian Clark missed the A Final of the 400 IM. Watch for Andrew Gemmel in the A final of the 400 IM. I saw him sprint the end of a 5K Open water swim 8 days ago.
I think the reason the 400 was slow was because the top 3 seeds were so slow. Houchin added 3 seconds from his seed time (3:51.1 to 3:54.3) possibly because Kleuh added 6 (they swam right next to each other).
I hope Hansen and Crocker come back. Ande do you have any knowledge about this?
