I am curious how many of you do two beat kicks? Are there any other world champions beside Manaudou who did two beat kicks? Also curious whether Manaudou does two beat kick in backstroke??

i find it useful to think of the 2 beat like a whip (as opposed to a scissor). with the proper timing, the amplitude of the kick can be rather small but quite effective.
Not disagreeing that it isn't effective for some people. I do think that a number of folks make it too big an amplitude, thus negating any benefits that a 2-beat kick can provide.
But, for me, it isn't effective.
