  • Thank you, Ahelee! There are many wonderful USMS blogs. And all types of swimmers can be found -- sprinters, mid-D, D, freestylers, strokers, OW, etc. I urge everyone to check them out for workout ideas or training advice. Can you recommend a good breaststroker blog? I know you don't swim the "evil stroke", but if you happen to know of a good blog... :D
  • Can you recommend a good breaststroker blog? I know you don't swim the "evil stroke", but if you happen to know of a good blog... :D We don't have an abundance of pure evilstrokers on the blogs ... But you can check out SwimStud, Karen Duggan (though it looks like she's injured :(), Swimbreast (if she decides to keep posting), and Water Rat (sprinter + breaststroker and just started blogging again). Those are the bloggers for whom, as I recall, *** is their best stroke. Patrick Brundage -- Of Swimming Bondage" -- is an IMer, can do every stroke and also posts really good workouts. And, finally, there is Ande himself, who was an All American in the 50 *** last season.

  • Elaine I'm not as active on the boards as before but I can always answer PMs if you have a question...I've had great breakthroughs in the last few years...I am happy to share what I think has worked for me. Thanks Stud! And, thanks, too, PWB.

  • Congratulations to Leslie Livingston and her Tri-fecta of SCM WR's She applied ideas from SFF & now there is a SFF Tip about her
  • That's for sure. Here's a :bighug: for my fellow frogs- and for you, too, 'Silver!
  • While I use the FLOG for my actual workouts and times, I then blog about my thoughts during the workout and mention some highlights of the practice. I have no idea if anyone is that interested in how much stuff some guy brings to the pool with him, or the strange looks I get from those skinny-minny gym rats, but hey it gets it out of my system and stops me boring my husband about it all! (ahem....actually probably no-one is interested as I don't get many readers:blush:) I just read all of your blog posts! :D What a coincidence; Moser Roth is one of my trusty companions, too! :bliss:Anyway, keep blogging 'Fly; I got a kick out of it! And, good luck with your 200 fly/ 130lb goal! :cheerleader:
