Tomorrow is the Sr Cir Meet, 400 fr is my first event, any suggestions on how to split it? Ande Hi Ande, Jim's method seems a bit unorthodox, but it's very edgy. Why don't you go after the 100 free record ...and then swim down the remaining portion. That's a bit out of the box as well. Or better yet, do the whole race butterfly ala Mr. Baker...or maybe backstroke? :) There's also happens to be a fellow on the forum who offers excellent swimming advise. Tip number 106
