Which is the most beautiful stroke--for men?

No need to separate by gender,breaststroke done correctly(breaststroke,not reststroke) is far and away the most aesthetically pleasing!!:bliss:

Breaststroke wouldn't be bad if you didn't have that fish mouth look while breathing!

I think for the casual observer of the sport, butterfly is by far the most impressive feat a swimmer can accomplish in the pool. It makes the swimmer look powerful, and for someone who can't or does not swim regularly, it seems to be the most difficult and foreign stoke to perfect. I don't know if that makes it "beautiful", but a properly perfected butterfly is nothing short of amazing - to me at least!

It's not my favorite stroke to swim, but I love to watch a man swim backstroke if he's really good at it. It has a certain grace and smoothness.

Butterfly is cool.....but what about long, lanky people with a nice relaxed evf and body roll cruising down the pool doing freestyle, it's poetry in motion!
