It's been 26 years since my last workout, now that I'm taking classes at the local college and have access to the pool I've joined USMS and plan to get back into some sort of shape (other than oval).
Any suggestions for someone who needs to get back in shape?
Just take it one day at a time. You will be struggling from the beginning but the more you swim, the easier it will get. If you feel worn after only doing about 1500, then get out.
