I'll be there at least from July 23-26 (maybe a bit longer) and again around Aug 3 for a day or two.
There appears to be a 50m pool by the Clonarf DART station, but I don't think it's open to the public.
Any other places with 25m or 25y pools that are open to the public and near DART or Louas lines or otherwise accessible from the city center via public transit?
And if I want to swim in the Irish Sea, where can I go?

I was hoping to actually correspond with a swimmer who had actually swam while in Dublin. Something Google can't give you.

Swimming isn't as big in Ireland as it is here, so you might not have anyone from Ireland at all see your post.

I would start there, and start sending emails. Your open water desire is probably more easily addressed than finding a pool to train at.
