If true, he seems to have a habit of screwing up in the very next Novembers after Olympics...
anyone here from the UK? How reputable is "news of the world"?

Phelps swam his butt off for the last 8 to 10 years and he lost millions that he so rightly deserved because some guy had to be a tool and snap a picture with his camera phone.
Seriously? Millions that he so rightly deserved? Look, it's not like he found a cure for cancer. He reaped the benefits of living in a society that richly rewards its sports superstars (not to mention its CEOs) and was showered with endorsements. And if he loses any money out of this deal, there's no reason to go looking for the guy with the camera phone. Just look in the mirror.
