If true, he seems to have a habit of screwing up in the very next Novembers after Olympics...

You know Geek, maybe we have it all wrong. Maybe it really was a mistake. Maybe he didn't know it was a bong. Maybe somebody said something like, "Hey, Mike, stick your face into this thing." He is, after all, just a big kid.
