are we sure that's Phelps?
If true, he seems to have a habit of screwing up in the very next Novembers after Olympics...
anyone here from the UK? How reputable is "news of the world"?
How could he be so careless?

you all, and this thread are going to make me late for my meeting!
If you can't tell I'm also a true southerner. Five generations born in the same house, eight generations born in the south. Fried chicken is southern, not African American. Waffles and fried chicken soul food? I think the restruant chain developed that as a marketing ploy, because I have never heard of that combination from any of my African American friends.
back to the subject of the thread (which I admit I haven't had time to read thoroughly) The young man was training unbelievably during the time most of us were raising heck, drinking and smoking dope. He missed that part of his life. Give the kid a break. He made a mistake let him suffer the consequences. If he makes it again shame on him and some real sanctions should be placed on him.
