are we sure that's Phelps?
If true, he seems to have a habit of screwing up in the very next Novembers after Olympics...
anyone here from the UK? How reputable is "news of the world"?

But you can bet that McDonalds didn't sponsor him for only his speed. They sponsored him as a healthy and health conscious person. I'm pretty sure that a guy smoking a bong isn't the health conscious image they had in mind!
And yet, as between the two, I'd wager that weekly pot-smoking is less harmful to health than weekly meals at McDonalds.
