Michael Phelps and a bong? Is there any truth to this?

He's 23 years old and he made a mistake. If you've never made a mistake, then start throwing stones, if you have, you have no reason to judge. I dont care if he's a public figure, he's still human. And as long as its not performance enhancing and endangering other people, well let them live their lives. At least he's not pulling guns at clubs like a certain New York Giants receiver. I bet every person on here has made a mistake but I doubt any of us were making money off endorsements at the time. Nor were we public figures. Nor were we Olympic athletes. He chose to stay in a sport that he excels at. He chose to take on endorsements. With those choices come responsibilities to stay at a certain level. He dipped below that level by being caught taking a bong hit.
