Michael Phelps and a bong? Is there any truth to this?

are we sure that's Phelps? If true, he seems to have a habit of screwing up in the very next Novembers after Olympics... anyone here from the UK? How reputable is "news of the world"? How could he be so careless?

  • I have more wisdom than my dad? Highly doubtful. He has experienced a lot more in life and thus gained wisdom more than I. Im not saying when I screw up it makes it anymore right. Just that im not perfect. I think the knee jerk reaction that our elders are always wiser is largely a societal myth or norm that is not always accurate. Yes, sometimes they have better judgment and experience. Other times, they act like blithering idiots too and are, in fact, less smart. I think it's better to treat all people, including elders, with respect. But automatic genuflecting and/or deferring to another's supposed wisdom can stifle independent thinking and creativity. At least Michael is smart enough to always wear tech suits.
