If true, he seems to have a habit of screwing up in the very next Novembers after Olympics...
anyone here from the UK? How reputable is "news of the world"?

That's idiotic. You're not a kid. You're fully responsible for your own actions. You have as much wisdom or raw brain matter (I guess), possibly just less experience.
I am fully responsible for my actions and admit to my mistakes and failings when I screw up. I have more wisdom than my dad? Highly doubtful. He has experienced a lot more in life and thus gained wisdom more than I. Im not saying when I screw up it makes it anymore right. Just that im not perfect.
